THE PURIFICATION OF THE ENERGETIC AND PHYSICAL BODIES
All humans possess not only a physical body but also various subtle bodies or energy fields that contribute to overall well-being. Transgressions impact these energetic bodies, causing imbalances that can manifest as physical, emotional, or spiritual disharmony.
Before I go any further, I think its important to mention that what I do is not energy healing. I do not manipulate the energy bodies or add things to them, I purify, cleanse and do deep releases. This alone, rebalances and harmonizes.
ABOUT TSUMI
Tsumi, a concept deeply ingrained in Japanese culture, goes beyond a mere translation of “sin” or “wrongdoing.” Rooted in Shinto and Buddhist traditions, tsumi reflects a profound sense of moral impurity, acknowledging actions that disrupt the interconnected harmony of relationships, both human and divine. It emphasizes the collective impact of transgressions, urging individuals to seek reconciliation through rituals, prayers, and acts of contrition. Tsumi is not only a personal concern but a communal one, encouraging self-reflection, responsibility, and a commitment to restoring balance within the broader cosmic order. This cultural touchstone shapes ethical considerations, interpersonal relationships, and fosters a deep sense of moral accountability within Japanese society.
TSUMI AND THE ENERGETIC BODIES
While the concept of tsumi is deeply rooted in moral and spiritual dimensions, it also has implications for the energetic bodies in the esoteric form of Shinto. With this being the case, a vast amount of subtle bodies or energy fields contribute to our overall well-being. Transgressions or tsumi impact these energetic bodies, causing imbalances that can manifest as physical, emotional, or spiritual disharmony. Keep in mind that the word transgression does not mean we bring discomfort or strife unto ourselves.
Often, it is brought by trauma, the environment and the people in our lives. In the context of energetic bodies, tsumi may be viewed as a disruption in the flow of life force or energy, often referred to as ki, chi, or prana in different traditions. Such disruptions can lead to blockages or disturbances in the energy flow, potentially affecting different aspects of a person’s health.
During my Group Rites, words of power, or harae-no-kotoba are employed to restore balance and cleanse the energetic bodies from the influence of tsumi. The interconnected nature of the energetic and spiritual dimensions not only affect one’s moral standing but also reverberate through the subtle layers of existence. By addressing these energetic imbalances, individuals aim to not only seek forgiveness on a spiritual level but also to restore harmony within the intricate web of their lives.
ESOTERIC SHINTO RITUAL
Esoteric Shinto, also known as Shingon Shinto or Shinpi Shinto, is a branch of Shinto that incorporates esoteric and mystical elements. Shinto itself is the indigenous spiritual and religious tradition of Japan, emphasizing the veneration of kami, which are considered divine or sacred beings that inhabit natural phenomena, objects, and even individuals. Esoteric Shinto, however, takes this to a deeper, more mystical level.
This esoteric form of Shinto is influenced by Esoteric Buddhism, particularly the Shingon tradition. Shingon Buddhism, which originated in Japan, is known for its use of rituals, mantras, and symbolism to access spiritual insight and power. Esoteric Shinto adopts similar practices, incorporating rituals, symbolic gestures, and meditation techniques to connect with the divine forces in a quest to attain healing and absolute clarity.
Practitioners of Esoteric Shinto embark on a profound spiritual journey, immersing themselves in intricate ceremonies, reciting sacred syllables known as mantras, and employing visualization techniques. Through these practices, we seek to unravel the mystical intricacies of the kami, the revered deities of Shinto, and gain insight into the spiritual realms they govern. This pursuit, however, is devoid of any sacred oaths, vows, or promises; it is a voluntary exploration of the divine. The ultimate aspiration of this spiritual odyssey is to attain a state of complete balance and harmony, both within oneself and with the universe at large.
